Re: XRoar with MPI and two cartridges

Hi Ciaran, the sound problem is absolutely related to my PC. It has two sound output jacks, one of them works flawlessly but the other modulates the sound at a very low rate. So I am using now the 'good' output and there is no more up and down level changes, sorry! But the fact that one has to switc...

Re: XRoar with MPI and two cartridges

Hello Ciaran, we are trying to make Orchestra90 work with Dragon Dos floppies (instead or RSDOS) and wanted to make some tests. We have two sound variants, one that uses the standard double 8 bit DAC on the Orchestra cartridge and another that sends the calculated bytes to the Dragon internal DAC (6...

Re: DragonMMC progres report.

I am really interested on this project, so put me down for one board.
If I could be of help, just let me know ... I will have a peek at some 'strange loading'
CAS files along this weekend.

cheers

Re: Could the Dragon use CoCo banked cartridges?

Re: DragonMMC progres report.

Hi Phill, glad to hear about your project again! Talking about autorun CAS files, there are some that load a small amount of code (in the hooks area) that autoruns and then it controls the needed data-code blocks to be loaded. I assume that this will work too, unless they use internal non std ROM ca...

Re: Could the Dragon use CoCo banked cartridges?

Hi James, This info is only CoCo related but explains something onthat subject and points to an article from Greg Zumwalt, the super cartridge creator ... Re: Could the Dragon use CoCo banked cartridges?

Hi James, The problem with cartridges with more than 16k ROM is that you need to add inside the card the switching circuits you'd like to use. And decode to an address where you would write to change the bank. Dragon has just the SAM, no GIME unfortunately :-( I think, but I might be wrong, that Dra...

Re: Recreating the DragonPlus Board

Hello Fabian,
according to Compusense documentation it could be used in a D32 or a D64.
So I could use a D32 to test it, no problem.
In fact I would like to have one .... the one I had back in the eigthies was lost
when moving to Barcelona. It went to relatives and then who knows!

Re: XROAR and Windows 10

Hi Ciaran, I have seen on "http://www.6809.org.uk/tmp/xroar/" a new snapshot of XRoar (2016-15132) from yesterday ... I have downloaded it and it works without GDB, but as soon as it is intercepted by GDB crashes as did last snapshot ... I assume I wil have to wait untill you tell me it works again ...

Re: Recreating the DragonPlus Board

Hello Fabian,
do you need someone's help to verify anything?
I would like to hear more about that thread, so if I could help pushing it a bit, I would do with pleasure.
Just let me know.
