i love the retro scene - people who probably own three of an old machine buy something new and the first thing they do with it... is run an emulator of the old machine they have three of. :D

lol. No mate, it was my bad for not supplying that information in the first place. i just assumed I was doing something wrong so didn't think to post which version I was using in my intitial question.

How in Crom's name do you load and run a cartridge ROM in Xroar? I downloaded a few from the archive, and after faffing around for a while I decided just to embarrass myself and post the question here. :)

I have no way of testing this at the moment so was hoping someone might already know the answer. What happens on the 6809 if an NMI interrupt from the expansion/cartridge connector is triggered while the CPU is in the process of a fetch-decode-execute cycle? i.e. Is the current instruction completed...

Xroar already supports features for creating a memory dump and loading dumps back into the emulator. Maybe you can use that? Oh I have been - and it works ok.
