Re: Cassette Baud...
The symbol rate is variable, since it takes only half as long to transmit a "1" bit compared to a "0" bit. I wonder if the quoted baud rate accounts for this (perhaps being an average), or whether it even makes sense to have a single value rather than a range?

Re: Difficulty with UPLOADING SECTION - please confirm
Hi Cloete what operating system do you have? If you prefer using a Windows interface you could try this converter. You would need to have .NET 3.5 installed and the WAV file will need to be 8-bit for that version. On the other hand, if you can run it but need the 16-bit feature then I could hurry-up...

Re: Dragon ROMS and other noob questions
I was slightly tempted to suggest joysticks for (6) but I guess peripherals might not really count. :D In terms of "extensions" that required the case to be opened up, maybe the D32 to D64 upgrade was the most popular? Though again probably not the answer Dragonizer is looking for... I'm not sure if...

Re: Dumb question: Print color
There was a program in one of the issues of Dragon User that inverted the text colours giving light green text on a dark green background (or light orange text on a dark orange background, if you wanted). I think this recent upload from zephyr also does the same thing: http://archive.worldofdragon....

Re: Dumb question: Print color
You want to change the text mode colours? Sorry - you can't; they're fixed! The only possibilities are inverting them or selecting the "orange" variants. So these are all the options: dark green on light green light green on dark green dark orange on light orange light orange on dark orange ...

Re: Dumb question: Print color
You need to find out the control sequence that your printer recognises for changing the ink colour. Then simply send it to the printer prior to whatever you want to print in that colour. e.g. PRINT #-2, CHR$( whatever );CHR$( whatever );CHR$( whatever ); Replace the various ' whatever ' with the ASC...

Re: SIN / COS in Sprint Compiler – could this perhaps work?
It looks like you're only using 91 different values of the SIN() function, so it could easily be replaced with an array look-up but I still think it would be non-trivial to perform the entire calculation in Machine Code unless you can rework the formula to only use integers. The 6809 processor doesn...

Re: SIN / COS in Sprint Compiler – could this perhaps work?
Hi Cloete! That's a tricky problem! :geek: I'm not sure that including a Machine Code routine will help much here unless there's a crafty way of utilising the ROM function for SIN(); however if that's easy enough to do then I'd guess Oasis would've supported it already. Perhaps an alternative viable...
