My calendar says 6 July is a Monday. Should this be July 4-5 instead?
Yup, just fat fingers. Date is correct now! Apologies!

Re: Dragon 32 Project Leader

Hi Ian, just spotted your message. We'd love to have you come to this year's Meetup - here's the details - http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/det/56835/dragon-meetup----july-5th-6th-2020/ - I think you'd be surprised at how active our little community is and what we're doing with this wonderful old ...

Dragon Meetup 2020 is go!

Hi all! I'm sure many of you have already spotted the announcements on Facebook, but for those who haven't - the Dragon 2020 Meetup is go! It's a whole weekend of fun this year, on the 4th and 5th of July at the usual venue of the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge. This year we're going to f...

Re: Happy New year 2020!

Happy New Year everyone! It's a bit quiet in here at the moment - but fairly soon I'll start planning the next Dragon Meetup (just 7 months to go!) and hopefully enthusing everyone to get all those projects finished in time to show them off!

Cheers, Tony

Re: Retro computer festival

Ha, Phil, yet again you videoed me without me noticing! Another great video, thank you. It was a really fun and busy event (not as fun as the Dragon event, of course, but nearly as good). Having 27 exhibitors kept me on my toes as the organiser! I got my D64 successfully running Viewdata software, a...

Dragon Meetup 2020!

Okay, I know it's just finished, but while it's fresh in our minds, let's have a think about Meetup 2020! A few ideas that spun out of beer based conversations on Saturday night: * Let's make the theme from 2020 'All the Software' - redress the balance after a lot of hardware related stuff. * Let's ...

Lovely, thanks Phil! I hadn't even noticed you were filming. I've posted this to the Facebook group too.

Re: Dragon Meetup 2019

It's nearly Meetup time! A few notes for those of you who haven't been before. The museum can be a bit tricky to find - if you find yourself driving into a scruffy industrial estate and thinking "surely it can't be down here?", well it is! Just look out for the signs. The museum opens to the public ...

Re: Dragon Meetup 2019

I have a 27128 here with your name on it David :) It's on my list of things to do before next weekend (a list that keeps on growing!!). Unless my 27128 is actually dodgy, it should be a quick job - I'll try and get it done in the next couple days, so I have time to order a spare in case it fails. Sa...

Re: Dragon Meetup 2019

I can do that for you - I think I've got some spare EPROMs somewhere, and if not, there's still time to get some before the event! I'll check when I'm in the office tomorrow.

Cheers, Tony
